Skateboarding can be an easy and convenient way to zip across campus or over to a friend’s house. But skateboarding is more than just a mode of transportation. It’s also a look, a sport, and a subculture. Skaters even have their own slang, some of which has become common outside of the skateboarding world as well. Know what I’m saying, dude?

Skaters are typically seen as reckless rebels and punks. But some skaters are serious athletes, who perform amazing tricks in major competitions like the X Games. Others are just ordinary guys and girls looking for a cheap, easy way way to get around. Ella thinks skaters are sexy. Find out if Jason will impress her with his moves.

If evil machines took over the earth, who would you want to be in charge of saving humanity? Probably not nine little creatures that look like a cross between Frankenstein and a sock puppet. But that’s what happens in the new CGI animated movie, 9.

9 is produced by Tim Burton, who’s known for creating weirdly beautiful worlds, like in his movies The Nightmare Before Christmas and Edward Scissorhands. Find out if Ella and Marni will be checking out his latest creation.

Everyone’s been so busy starting Internet companies and rival companies, that Beren’s friends didn’t notice she hasn’t been around much lately.

In fact, the last time anyone saw her was when Marni discovered that she has been corresponding with her evil twin who once kidnapped her and tried to steal her identity. Jason saw her leaving this morning with baggage. Hopefully she’s not going to meet up with her sister!

If Elvis Presley is the king of rock ‘n’ roll, then Jay-Z must be the king of hip-hop. He’s put out more number one albums than any artist in the U.S., including Elvis. Plus, he owns an NBA team, a record company, and a clothing company, making him one of the wealthiest businessmen in America. And as if all that weren’t enough, he’s married to Beyonce.

Jay-Z wasn’t always so successful. He grew up in the projects, was abandoned by his father at age 12, and never finished high school. But music was always a big part of his life, and he started recording rap songs in the 1980s. His new album, The Blueprint 3, is his 11th studio album and his 11th album to hit number one.
