Isaiah: What up, Tom?
Tom: Oh, not much. I’m so sick. I feel terrible.
Isaiah: What’s wrong?
Tom: I don’t know. I have a headache, I have a stomachache, I’ve just been sick all day. I don’t think I’m going to get out of bed tonight.
Isaiah: Really. Me and a couple of my friends were thinking about goin’ and grabbing some drinks. You sure you can’t make it?
Tom: Oh man, that would be dope, but I’m so tired. I don’t think I can get out bed.
Isaiah: I heard one of the best, ah, cure-alls for any type of ailment is a little booze.
Tom: Yeah, I hear people tell me that all the time but… I wish I could drink, but I just feel so sick already. I couldn’t handle a hangover.
Isaiah: Yeah, well if you change your mind, give me a ring. We’ll just be hanging out over at my place.
Tom: Alright. I’ll call you if I feel better.

Discussion
There is some good slang in this conversation. The speed is a little fast, but it’s normal for natural speakers. Listen to it as many times as you need to, and try to repeat what’s said. Have fun! —Doc
